A few of my favorite things...

Inside the shop - cutting, color, and power blow outs, (the higher the hair, the closer to God.) Learning as much as I can and challenging myself as often as possible

Outside the shop - Dining out, dancing, (I'm a HUGE DJ groupie!) meeting new people, movies, Jeopardy!! I have a huge appreciation for art and fashion, and see both as rich resources for inspiration.

Matt has always had an interest in the beauty industry and in 2003 he began to pursue this at Cosmotech Institute. Since graduating, he has continued his education with advanced color classes from Goldwell. Matt is a certified keratin hair straightening specialist. Matt's favorite service is the shampoo blow-dry... "You'd be surprised to see what I can do with a few brushes and a blow dyer."

Matt was hired after owner, Jennifer Leigh received a giant bear hug from him at a social event, and realized she wanted his good energy in the house at O2. Matt prides himself on being a goofball. "I love telling jokes and funny stories. I think laughter and good heartedness are good for the soul."

While Matt's entertainment skills go un-matched, he is sure to put his clients' best interests first.
